Welcome to P&MJ Vintage Sales ("we," "us," or "our"), operated by Slipstream Industries, LLC, an Indiana limited liability company. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website (the "Site") and the purchase of products from us.

By accessing or using the Site, placing an order, or completing a purchase, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or purchase from us.

1. Our Business and Products P&MJ Vintage Sales specializes in vintage, pre-owned, and collectible items, including but not limited to model trains (e.g., Lionel, MTH, Bachmann), lighting, electronics, cameras, and other antique or retro goods. All items are sold "as is" and are typically used, vintage, or new old stock unless explicitly stated as new. We source items from estate sales, auctions, and private sellers. Descriptions, photos, and condition notes aim to be accurate, but minor wear consistent with age is expected. We do not offer warranties beyond any manufacturer warranty that may still apply (rare for vintage items).

2. Orders and Pricing

  • All prices are in U.S. Dollars and include any applicable descriptions but exclude shipping, taxes, and fees unless stated.
  • We reserve the right to correct pricing or listing errors at any time before shipment.
  • Orders are subject to acceptance and availability. We may cancel or refund orders if an item is no longer available or if we suspect fraudulent activity.
  • Payment is processed securely through Shopify Payments or other integrated methods. You authorize us to charge your payment method for the total amount, including shipping and taxes.

3. Shipping and Delivery

  • Shipping costs and methods are calculated at checkout and may vary by item weight, destination, and carrier (e.g., USPS, FedEx).
  • We ship from Dyer, Indiana, or nearby locations. Estimated delivery times are provided but not guaranteed.
  • Local pickup may be available in the Northwest Indiana / Chicagoland area by arrangement.
  • Risk of loss passes to you upon shipment. We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers or customs (for international orders).

4. Returns, Refunds, and Cancellations Vintage and collectible items are sold with a limited return window due to their unique nature:

  • Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery for items that materially differ from the listing description (e.g., undisclosed damage or incorrect item).
  • Buyer pays return shipping unless the error is ours.
  • Items must be returned in the same condition received, with all original packaging if applicable.
  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method minus original shipping costs (and any restocking fee if applicable).
  • No returns on "as is," "for parts," "untested," or personalized/custom items unless explicitly stated.

We do not accept returns for change of mind on vintage goods. This policy does not affect your rights under applicable consumer protection laws.

5. Condition and Descriptions We make reasonable efforts to describe items accurately, including condition, era, maker, and any known defects. Photos are part of the description. Due to the vintage nature of most inventory, slight variations from photos or minor imperfections consistent with age may exist. Buyers are encouraged to review all photos and ask questions before purchase.

6. Intellectual Property All content on the Site, including text, images, and logos, is owned by or licensed to Slipstream Industries, LLC. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our prior written consent.

7. Limitation of Liability To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site or purchase of products.
  • Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific item in question.
  • We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, except as required by law. Vintage items carry inherent risks of age-related issues.

8. Indemnification You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Slipstream Industries, LLC, its owners, and agents from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your misuse of the Site or violation of these Terms.

9. Governing Law These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Lake or Porter County, Indiana.

10. Changes to Terms We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site or purchases after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will post the updated effective date.
