This rare collector's piece is a Vintage 6 ft. Quaker State Oil Refining Corporation Embossed Metal Sign, marked “Made in U.S.A. – G-79.” This large original advertising sign measures approximately 71 3/4″ long × 11 3/4″ high × 1/2″ deep and weighs about 9 pounds. The sign features raised (embossed) white lettering on a green background reading “QUAKER STATE OIL.”This is original new old dealer stock - chances are you won't find another like it, particularly in this new condition!
The sign was in storage for years with the factory paper wrapping glued in place - a couple photos show this original wrapping, which was removed for this updated listing.
Condition and Other Notes: There is some residue left on the sign from the wrapping paper adhesive however at viewing distance it is hardly noticeable. The paint is bright and shines like new. The sign shows only minor surface mars, light
scratches and swirls, and possibly small paint chips, mostly at the edges and on
the rear. There are no bends, significant dents, or repairs done to the sign. The sign has never been displayed or mounted. See photos for exact condition.
