This striking rug / accent piece showcases the iconic #3 Goodwrench Car and Hauler, crafted with detailed artwork signed by Wayne Epperly (as part of the artwork, not separately). Epperly worked with NASCAR for about five years in the 1990s, producing detailed drawings and promotional items like coasters for Rusty Wallace’s Miller Genuine Draft car, alongside marketing graphics for Earnhardt and other drivers. His fine art background, including oil paintings, mixed media, and sculptures shown in galleries, added a unique touch to these racing pieces.
Made in 1994 by Mebane Products Inc., this is a one-of-a-kind piece measuring about 35" x 22.5" is the only one made with fringes and without a black border. The rich black, green, and sunset colors bring Earnhardt’s championship season to life, perfect for a striking display.
CONDITION DETAILS: This is a vintage used rug with a slightly stiffened backing showing slight shedding and yellowing consistent with age, along with minor warpage.
